The Big 11 - 4way deal

Blogging brings luck?

It seems so.

So yesterday, I was able to make it to the Top4 of the Big 11 on Pokerstars.

Because the Tournament has a Buy-In of only $11 and 75k gdt. Pricepool many people play this tournament every day.

Yesterday it were 8382.

The Variance in this games is very high and you only get really deep 1/100 tries  I would say. If this is enough.

But yesterday, it happened.

I rocked the Tables and could abuse the Tables very well in the end because no really good players were left in the tournament when we were down to about 30. Only the OnlinePro "Henrique.P" who got FT-Bubbly boy.

I got to the Final table with 4 times avg and more than double chips than the next player behind me.

How could this happen?

Well, the cards ran for me. QQ holds against AJ preflop, RIGHT AWAY the next hand AA hold against AK preflop and a few hands later I flopped a set and was able to get the opponent all-in.

After this, all were a little scared and didnt want to play against me. Was able to hold the 10 mio till 5 left when the 2nd CL raised UTG. I 3-bet and she (I think a "Princes" can be could a "she") went all in for about 50bb.

Well, I made a bad call then. This occured probably on winning the last 30 hands or whatever with having the feeling she wouldnt jam AA and KK but only AQ-TT.

Well, she had AA and yeah. Down to 4 mio.

A few hands later, all decided to make a deal and this was is. GG

My 2nd highest Cash. I´m happy!

The Revitalize

Welcome back. Should I start this way? I think this sounds good.

Well, I wasnt really gone. I just lost the fun on writing and was tired to write 2 blogs at the same time.
Although I have my other blog still (at Pokerstrategy Forum) I had the feelind today to go on here.

Dont ask me why, I just had it.

I also decided to change a little. Because I didnt often know what to write beside "good month" and "bad month" I decided that a little bit real life won´t be this bad.

This leans on the blog of abarone68, which I like to read. You can find it here

So here we go.

What happened?

In October I started to study Geography in Jena, Germany. I was able to pass the first semester and at the moment I´m right in the middle of the second. I still like it and finally I´ve found a great room with 2 other guys here and feel very comfortable.

Studying, playing football and going to work are the cases why my volume is not as sick as the one of the other grinders. I can only play from Sunday-Thursday because at the weekend I drive home to work and for football.

I don´t live from my poker winnings and don´t want to and I like my work in a pub too much to quit it.

Poker now.

As you can see November was my last month I updated. I took a break then because my motivation was down because of 2 things.

1. stupid grinding the whole night without an aim
2. 30 tabling, in the end even with xbox controller

-> running BE for 3k games and beeing pissed

I thought I rule the game because of the good months before and didnt do any theory. I made bad pushed and didnt care about it, thought all would come to me for free. Wrong. Of course.

So I was so pissed, that I needed a break. I restartet at the end of January with an Staking for MTTs over 200 Games.

After them, I was down about $4,5k but, lucky me, fullstaked.

So I decided to go back to 180s and do theory again. This was a good decision and I started to play again. Found a lot of leaks after this time and yes, playing made fun again.

Now I´m playing about 1-3 times a week 180s,45s and a 5-10 MTTs per session. 180s are running ok, MTTs not. Anyway I´m still up 2012 and this is good.

45-180s, avg rebuys 3
This is with avg rebuys "3". Dont know if this fits, but if I take the standard options, I would be up about 6k and this is too much. 3 should be too much, but if would count in the unstaked MTTs, this would look like this too.

Cant show a graph of all games this year, because a lot were staked in MTTs but I dont know how much exactly.

But atm I should be up something like the graph above.

And yes, I played live too.
The Concord Million in Austria with a Pricepool of 1 Mio and 2000 people.
Was able to make in in the "final" but busted on place 71. Was the first all in in the whole tourney I had.

Cashed 1,7k but I sold 60% so with the rest and the travel costs I came out ~break even.

I´ll upload the live photo in my blog.

Yesterday I had one of the best days since a long time, finished 2nd in the €33 Turbo and with the rest I was up about 1,4k.

But now, keep on grinding and rocking the Uni. Cheers.
