A-Levels done.

Yesterday we got the results and only 2 people failed of 9x. Pretty normal.

Finally no more learning...especially no more chemistry!!

Now I have 6 months until I uni starts and obv enough time to grind....ohh I wish I would have hold my limit and could grind and grind...

The problem with the $12 limit is that it´s not really motivating...

Because of this I play the $12 and the $36 mixed atm...and I hope to get back because 6 months on the $12 aren´t nice in any way...(why 36 and not 24? next post)

Graphs in the next update! ;)

  1. In my opinion, speaking from the hourly rate point of view, the 18-seat SnG are much more valuable than the STTs. My hourly rate, combined with rakeback, got so much better!

    The swings are much bigger on STTs, where you'll need thousands of tours as a sample to figure out where your real ROI is. And if it is around +1% you may even need tenths of thousands of STTs to figure it out! Swings are much smaller if your ROI is more than 10% (which I think it will be for you if you play only 18-seat $6.50 and $12). As for the hourly rakeback I'll tell you about my experience. I used to play STTs in sets of 9 tables and I would start the next set of 9 tours only after the 1st was almost over (1 last table heads-up). So I would produce $9 of rake in 45min, that is $18 in a 1h30min session. Now I mix up $12 and $6.50's starting with 12 tables immediately replacing any tour that ends. This way I produce around $20 of rake within a 2h session. I haven't made a big sample yet, but I think my ROI must be greater than 15% with this average buy-in of almost $10.

  2. as i heard a lot of regs are grinding the $24s since they can gather low leaderboard points there - correct? i guess that`s the reason.

    also congrats on your a-levels.

  3. @anonym

    I think the same and would prefer to play the 18´s. The problem is that on the 16$ are many regs and high swings and I don´t want to play them under 300-400 BI.
    just because i´m no shark at the 18s and have many leaks which I have to clear first. 18´s are really different in some ways.

    @scherfe
    yes one reason, but there is another one, too;)

    thx!
